Not more than two of the six courses can come from any one discipline, although students can count two non-language courses in AMESALL even if taking South Asian language courses. Cross-listed courses can only be counted once but may be considered as being in either of the departments where they are listed. Courses taken at St. Stephen's College, Delhi under the Rutgers University Study Abroad Program may be included in the six, subject to the approval of a faculty advisor.
