Join us for an interactive conversation about our diverse field based research experiences. As students of Art History, Urban Planning and Political Science we have found the field to mean different things - from conversations, observations, silences, negotiations and pleas for time. The field was not only determined by abstract theoretical conundrums but emerged as an independent character in our research often driving us into uncharted terrains. This session aims to be a conversation on our experiences of maneuvering the field as a material site and the importance of fieldwork within our doctoral projects.
